Pop superstar Madonna and her lover Jesus Luiz have parted ways.
The Sun reports both she and Jesus blamed the 28-year age difference between them and a lack of common interests for the split.
The work schedules of 51-year-old Madonna and Jesus, 23, were also said to be a factor.
Luiz is said to have initiated the split which was amicable.
Mother-of-four Madonna has told friends she and Brazilian Jesus are at "different places" in their lives.
Madonna met Jesus, a fashion model, on a photoshoot.
They began dating after her eight-year marriage to director Guy Ritchie, 41, ended in divorce in October 2008.
