A bail application by two Fiji men charged with the murder of their two Indian national employers was today refused bail by the High Court.
Ruling on the application made yesterday, judge Justice Priyantha Fernando said the grounds of refusing bail for Ravinesh Vikash Padiachi and Mohammed Nadeem would be provided later.
The pair face two counts of murder and one count of larceny.
The case has been set for mention on October 24.
The victims, Ramakrishnan and Rajamanickam, operated a scrap metal business in Nakasi and were reported missing on December 14, 2009.
Their bodies were discovered in a pit latrine in Koronubu, Ba two weeks ago.
