Former Oscar-nominee George Clooney might be in the running for a Best Actor trophy for his role in ‘Up in the Air’ but a survey has rated his 1997 ‘Batman and Robin’ the worst movie of all time.
Empire magazine has just released the verdict.
Co-starring Chris O’Donnell and Uma Thurman, the comic book flick cost $US140 million to make and was blamed for almost killing off the Batman film franchise, The Sun reports.
Voters in the magazine poll slammed the film for its anatomically-correct Batsuits and an "overblown" script.
"It has become a byword for franchise-killing and bad movie-making," an Empire Magazine spokesman said.
The film got almost three times as many votes as the next entry, John Travolta’s sci-fi flick ‘Battlefield Earth’.
Austin Powers funnyman Mike Myers’ comedy ‘The Love Guru’ came in third place.
