Fosters Group Pacific Limited has announced the resignation of its general manager Ross Shaw after three years on the job.
FGPL company secretary Alfred Chan said Shaw has completed a three year term with the company and will return to Australia.
In the interim, the company has appointed Michael Stoneman to head the Fiji-based Pacific operation.
Stoneman is a senior production executive at Carlton and United Breweries, the Australian beer and spirits division of Foster's Group Limited, parent company of FGPL.
He was recently general manager of Abbotsford Brewery, a division of Fosters and one of the largest Breweries in Australia and also worked in Fiji from 1996 to 2000.
FGPL also announced the appointment of Marc Dally as interim Engineering Manager following the expiry of incumbent Glen Boatwright’s three year contract.
FGPL recently announced an after-tax profit of $10.59 million for the 2009 financial year, up 2.9 percent despite a decline in sales volumes and revenue due to adverse trading conditions in Fiji and Samoa.
