An American company has developed and is selling an emoticon symbol for sarcasm online.
Sarcasm Inc. of Michigan has released software for computer systems and BlackBerry devices that can be downloaded for around $2.
The software provides the sarcasm mark or "SarcMark" that looks like an open circle with a dot in the center; similar to an upside down "@" symbol, MyFox reports.
The company says the reason they developed the sarcasm mark was because "the written word has question marks and exclamation points to document those thoughts, BUT sarcasm has NOTHING!"
