Youth allegedly rapes cousin

An 18-year-old youth will appear in the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with the alleged rape of his 12-year-old cousin on Friday.

Police spokesman Wame Bautolu told FijiLive the two were sleeping in the same room in Buabua, Lautoka when the incident happened.

The matter was reported to police by the girl’s parents.
