The judges found their hands full with an overabundance of talent to judge at the Pacific Has Talent semi-finals held in Suva last night as part of the build up to next week’s Miss South Pacific Pageant (MSPP).
“Eighteen talented contestants were selected from the first two heats and after tonight’s show the judges really had a hard time selecting the top 10,” said Tevita Koroitamana, the MSPP’s program and entertainment coordinator.
The top 10 will perform at the finals next Tuesday (November 24) to be held during the pageant.
“Tonight is just a brief introduction of what’s going to happen in the final,” said Koroitamana.
The Dragon Music-sponsored semis kept the 300-plus crowd on seats edge as singers, krump dancers, bands and hip hop groups took the stage at Suva’s Albert Park.
An additional highlight for the spectators was being accommodated at the newly renovated pavilion which has the capacity for more than 400 guests.
The 2009 South Pacific Pageant is set for November 21 – 28.
The Top 10:
