Naitasiri high chief Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, who is charged with inciting mutiny in 2000, has been given more time by the High Court to engage a Queens Counsel.

Ratu Inoke appeared before Justice Daniel Goundar in the High Court in Suva today.

Justice Goundar told Ratu Inoke’s local lawyer, Akuila Naco, that he has three more weeks to engage a counsel.

The case will be called again on November 16 to set a trial date.
