Permanent secretary for Works and Transport Anand Kumar has been sent on leave pending investigations.

Public Service Commission chairman Josefa Serulagilagi told FijiLive that Kumar’s file was with the Solicitor General’s Office.

Serulagilagi said the allegations against Kumar could not be made public yet.

He said charges against Kumar were yet to be formalised.

“They are having a look at it and if there is enough evidence then we will take action,” he said.

“He (Kumar) is on leave.”
