The Fiji Employers Federation will conduct a one day workshop with its members on the review of the Employment Relations Promulgation (ERP) 2007.

FEF President Digby Bossley said the employers believe that the review of the ERP 2007 is important and see it as advantageous that the review be carried on a regular note in line with the global economic changes.

Bossley said the overall emphasis of this process is to promote trust and goodwill, building a healthy and productive workforce so employers can be able to provide a decent work environment and provide decent working condition with decent wages.

He added that the objective of this consultation workshop is to make a collective agreement on the concerns raised by the members in the relation to the ERP and present their submission at the next meeting.

The workshop will be conducted next Tuesday at the Holiday Inn.
