The Public Service Commission has ordered an investigation into the conduct of suspended Permanent Secretary for Local Government, Urban Development, Housing and Environment.
It is understood the investigation into Ram Chandar began after he received his suspension letter yesterday.
The reasons for Chandar's suspension are still unclear as PSC is keeping mum about it.
The Local Government Ministry has also suspended Suva City Council special administrator, Vijendra Prakash, Nasinu Town Council administrator, Meli Bogileka, and NTC chief executive officer, Satish Kumar.
No comments could be obtained from the Local Government Minister Colonel Samuela Saumatua.
