Four people were killed as a private plane crashed Saturday into a warehouse in a suburb of the Philippine capital, witnesses and radio reports said.
The propeller-driven plane was apparently trying to make an emergency landing when it struck a wall and then crashed into the warehouse and burst into flames in the Marikina suburb, the reports said.
"It hit the wall of a house and then crashed and hit the warehouse," witness Rudy Garcia said in a radio interview.
He and other witnesses said they saw four bodies being taken away from the plane after the crash. There were no immediate reports of casualties on the ground.
Police, firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the scene to put out the blaze and secure the area.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
