The body of a 52-year-old farmer has been found at Malolo two days after he left on a fishing trip with his two sons and a friend.
Police spokesman Wame Bautolu told FijiLive the group was fishing off Momi near Nadi on a bamboo raft when it capsized last Tuesday.
Three members of the group managed to swim ashore and took shelter at Honeymoon Island in the Mamanuca Group.
They had not seen the 52-year-old man during the ordeal.
His body was later recovered at Malolo Island, a popular resort in the island group.
Bautolu said the post mortem report revealed the man had died from drowned.
