In what is expected to be his last official duty, outgoing Fiji President Ratu Josefa Iloilo will open a brand new complex for the country’s Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) today.
Iloilo will arrive at 10am at the complex in Nasese.
He is expected to deliver his address at about 10.30am following a dedication by Fiji Police Force chaplain Reverend Mesulame Senimoli, a reading from the Bible and a hymn.
The ceremony is expected to last about 90 minutes.
Close to a hundred guests including government ministers and members of civil society are expected to attend.
