Fiji’s Audio Visual Commission (FAVC) is preparing to seal a deal with Bollywood producers for the filming of two movies in Fiji towards the end of October.
FAVC Marketing and Public Relations Manager Florence Swamy said following initial visits earlier this year, the producers of the two movies were expected to be in Fiji again this month to secure locations and sign contracts.
“Although we have not received any final cast list for either of the movies, the producers, during their earlier visit to Fiji, had mentioned names such as John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Johnny Lever, among others,” Swamy told FijiLive.
“Discussions with these artists were underway at the time,” she said.
Swamy said the producers had already scouted locations with shooting planned to take place mainly in Suva and Nadi.
