Air Pacific has appointed former Fiji Visitors Bureau executive Josaia Rayawa to the position of Manager Advertising and Promotions.

In a statement, the airline said Rayawa would be responsible in his new role for providing direction and leadership in the ongoing development and application of the Air Pacific brand and its strategies.

“He will ensure all marketing combinations, public relations, promotions, sponsorships and product development activities are aligned with brand values,” the airline said.

Rayawa joined the then Fiji Visitors Bureau, now known as Tourism Fiji, in 1991, where, he successively held among other positions, the roles of regional director New Zealand, regional director Australia and regional director North America.
