The board of Fiji Ports Corporation Limited has ordered an investigation into three of its top executives, sending one of them on leave.

The investigation surrounding chief executive officer Captain Chris Marshall and general manager finance Asit Sen was over corporate governance issues, chairman Semi Koroilavesau told FijiLive.

He said general manager corporate services Jiu Daunivalu was also being investigated on a separate matter and had been sent on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Sen and Marshal remain on the job.

“The investigation on the two is regarding corporate governance so there was no need to send them on leave, however the second investigation on Daunivalu require him going on leave,” said Koroilavesau.

He said the investigations will be done by a board sub-committee which will make recommendations to the board.
