The Chairman and Managing Director of Fijian Holdings Limited have been reinstated after taking leave to allow a Government investigation into the institution.
Fijian Holdings Limited Acting Chairman Iowane Naiveli said in statement that the Corporate Governance Audit has been completed and a report has been presented to the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
Naiveli said the Prime Minister, in receiving the report is satisfied and has decided that Chairman Isoa Kaloumaira and Managing Director Sereana Qoro to be reinstated immediately.
Naiveli also said its business as usual in the FHL Group.
The government had started proceedings to investigate Fijian Holdings Limited last Friday and asked the executives to take 5 days leave.
The Ministry of Information clarified that only Kaloumaira and Qoro were asked to step aside to allow for investigations and not Deputy Chairman Lt-Col Mohammed Aziz.
