Hiroyoshi Yoshikawa, the chairman and managing director of Toyota Tshusho Corporation of Japan, trading in Fiji as Asco Motors, has resigned.
This was confirmed by company secretary Joseph Mow via a statement to the South Pacific Stock Exchange where the company is listed.
Yoshikawa was based at the company’s Brisbane-based head office.
Mow said Yoshikawa tendered his resignation to take up his new assignment as the general manager of the customer services department in the car dealer’s holding company - Toyota Tshusho Corporation of Japan.
He said a replacement chairman and managing director will be appointed at the board of directors’ next meeting scheduled for June.
