Air Pacific has appointed ex-Continental Airlines official Martin White as its Executive General Manager Commercial.
“He will greatly assist Air Pacific’s revenue drive through strategic brand and product development and underpin Air Pacific’s joint marketing activities with tourism Fiji and Fiji’s travel and tourism industry," said Air Pacific chief executive officer John Campbell. According to a statement from Air Pacific, White has an extensive career in aviation and travel, having served as Manager Marketing Programs with Continental Airlines, VP Marketing for US Airways and Delta Air Lines and Senior VP Marketing for United Airlines. His resort and hotel experience was gained as Senior VP Marketing and Sales for Vail Resort Inc., operators of five premier mountain resorts in Colorado and Heavenly in California with associated conference entertainment and food beverage outlets and a turnover of US$1 billion. White’s responsibilities at Air Pacific will cover overall commercial activities of the company including marketing communications, passenger and cargo sales, revenue, yield management, revenue budgeting and forecasting, pricing, customer relationships, corporate image, service design and the development and implementation of commercial strategy. * Get local and international rugby news & live updates/results on your phone.
