Fiji should expect a bigger and better show at this year’s Vodafone MIC competition.

That’s a promise from the organisers - Fiji TV and Vodafone Fiji - at the launch of the competition’s season two in Suva today.

Fiji TV CEO Tarun Patel said MIC has proved to be a top rating locally produced show.

“We will make sure that we’ll pick the best ten singers out of the long list of individuals who have shown interest so far, and this is always a challenging task for the producers and the judges of the show,” Patel said.

Vodafone’s Aslam Khan said their partnership comes out of a passion for the world around us and the fact that some people especially talented youths, have resorted to singing as their way of life.

“Season 2 will definitely be bigger and better this time and we will be taking it to another level,” Khan said.

Fiji TV will open its Suva studio this Saturday for all interested individuals to audition.
