Fiji Television board member Winston Thompson has resigned.

This was confirmed by the company’s board of directors today through the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPSE) where the company is publicly listed.

Thompson, Telecom Fiji Limited’s former chief executive cited personal reasons for his resignation.

Fiji TV board chairman Isoa Kaloumaira said Thompson had been with the Group for the last 10 years and that he had served his tenure on the board, thus deciding to move on.

He said the board had accepted Thompson’s resignation.

“It is with regret that we accept Mr Thompson’s notice of resignation,” he said.
