The Taunovo Bay multi-million dollar integrated tourism project has entered its second stage of development.
The second stage involves the development of the Taunovo Beach Private Estates with a total of 32 freehold lots - 16 direct beachfront and 16 private beach access - all approximately half an acre in size.
Taunovo Beach Private Estates will have its own core facility including a central pool, beach café and bar. A marina and a branded five star hotel are also planned for the future.
Taunovo Bay chief executive officer Mitch Hagerman said this phase was an integrated residential resort enabling residents to enjoy a resort lifestyle within a secure gated and family-friendly environment.
He said owners could reside permanently, or enjoy as a beach house, and gain investment return through resort managed holiday letting.
Hagerman said work on the new subdivision was well under way with all major infrastructures already in place.
He said the construction of the security wall had begun and work on sewerage would commence shortly.
“We are creating something unique on Viti Levu. Residents at Taunovo Beach Private Estates can live the tropical dream lifestyle with sun, sea, sand and security,” Hagerman said.
Fiji’s President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo cut the ribbon at the weekend to mark the commencement of this development.
Director Sales Valerie Williams said the estate was a secure community where owners would enjoy a beach lifestyle within the proximity of Suva.
“Freehold titles are registered, so construction can commence straight away. There are architectural plans specifically designed for the lots or owners can provide their own designs, subject to review by the developer,” she said.
Taunovo Bay Resort & Spa is part of a master planned integrated resort development of 1000 acres of free-hold property, spanning over a three kilometre beachfront, part of which will include the new luxury residential beachfront development.
