Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra have won Best Actor and Best Actress respectively at the 54th Filmfare Awards, Bollywood's equivalent of the Oscar.

Chopra scooped Best Actress In a Leading Role for her part in Fashion.

Other nominees for the award were Aishwarya Rai - Jodhaa Akbar, Anushka Sharma - Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Asin Thottumkal - Ghajini, and Kajol - U Me Aur Hum.

Roshan won Best Actor In a Leading Role for his part in Jodhaa Akbar.

Other nominees for the award were Aamir Khan - Ghajini, Abhishek Bachchan - Dostana, Akshay Kumar - Sinng Is Kinng, Shah Rukh Khan - Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and Naseeruddin Shah - A Wednesday!

The Best Director award went to Ashutosh Gowariker for Jodhaa Akbar.

Jodhaa Akbar was also named Best Film.
