The Water Authority Department of Fiji has a new chairperson and board members.
Interim Attorney General Aiyaz –Sayed Khaiyum said John Prasad has been selected as the chairperson while board members include Sunil De Silva, Illisapeci Bole, Ram Shandil, Saipora Mataikabara and Lasantha Thennakoon.
The water authority will be operating from the premises of the Ministry of Public Enterprises.
The first task of the board is to select a new chief executive officer for the department.
