Natural Waters of Fiji, the manufacturers of bottled Fiji Water, has submitted three proposals to the interim Government for Yaqara Pastoral Company.
Company CEO David Roth they won the tender to run YPC in the first tender process by the previous government.
However, things changed after the December 6, 2006, military takeover.
Roth said Fiji Water wanted to continue talk with the interim Government and hopefully enter into an agreement to benefit Fiji, especially local farmers.
However, he expressed disappointment that the interim Government called for expressions of interest from other companies to run YPC’s operations.
Roth said Fiji Water would seek talks with the interim Government on this new development.
He added that most of the money made by the pastoral company was from royalties paid by Fiji Water.
