Westpac Bank has announced the appointment of Don Maytom as the Head of Credit and Risk in Fiji.
Maytom, who started in the role from Monday May 19, 2008, takes over from Ashleigh Matheson who was in Fiji for the last two years and recently appointed the General Manager for Westpac’s operations in Tonga.
Westpac Fiji Islands General Manager, John Cashmore said Maytom’s leadership attributes and his vast experiences and knowledge of credit and branch banking are well suited for the role in Fiji.
Maytom said he was excited about taking up the role in Fiji and looked forward to being a positive impact to the success of Westpac in Fiji.
Westpac is Fiji’s longest serving bank starting its operations in Fiji in 1901 and now has 19 branches and 30 ATMs nationwide. Westpac employs more than 410 people in Fiji.
