Four Lebanese opposition activists were killed during violent protests in Beirut on Sunday over power cuts, an official from the opposition party Amal told AFP.
"Four people were killed in the protests, including a member of Amal and three members of Hezbollah," the official said on condition of anonymity.
A security official said at least five people were also wounded.
The bloodshed came amid fears of spiralling violence in Lebanon which has been gripped by a protracted presidential crisis, and two days after a massive car bombing killed a top intelligence officer and four other people.
