Look After Tourists
Sunday, May 03, 2009
We were in Fiji a couple of weeks ago and cannot believe how we were ripped off. First the hotels have a higher room rate. We had lots of trouble with car rentals. The van we rented had no brakes, petrol gauge was not working and we ran out of petrol the first day, stuck in Sigatoka for 3 hours. No shocks in car lights were tied with wires, no screws to tighten them. Wonder how the cars get roadworthy permits from LTA. Funny thing when we returned the car they wanted money for petrol even though we returned with full tank. The reason because the fuel gauge was not working. I think the Ministry of Tourism should look into all these. Raj Dharmendar Singh

Political Crisis
Thursday, Apr 16, 2009
After visiting Fiji a couple of times my wife and I have a special place in our hearts for your wonderful country and the people there. We have sung the praises to so many people, and encouraged them to visit, because we have been so impressed by how friendly and democratic Fiji was. If the people in power really have the best interest of all of Fiji in their hearts, they need to see how much damage has been done to Fiji's world reputation and to the economic future of Fiji's people. I hope the many good people of Fiji can stand together and return the country to democracy and freedom soon, realising that it can never be perfect but is always better. Our prayers are with you.

We Are The World's Greatest
Friday, Mar 06, 2009
With all the drama before the game I wasn't showing interest in the game ... I think most people felt like that but when Fiji plays I feel my heart ponding and secretly hoping that they make it through.
I am praying that Fiji makes it and I think we are proud of our country and no matter what our issues are when Fiji plays, we all pray for victory ... and we pray for Fiji.
No matter what the world says about our team or our country, we know we are better than most and we are the world's greatest. Fariza Yatika
