Communications and Research Officer

Dialogue Fiji is inviting applications for the position of Communications and Research Officer to be based at its Suva office.
The applicant will be required to:-
• Implement Dialogue Fiji Communication strategy as agreed to by the DF Committee
• Create and update website and other social network sites
• Assist in data collection, editing and publication of newsletters, brochures and other publications
• Overseeing all communication requirements for Dialogue Fiji activities
• Carry out desk research in preparing papers on issues related to the work of DF
• Provide other general communication and administration support
• Strengthen the Dialogue Fiji communications networks
The applicant must have:-
• A university degree or equivalent professional qualification, with at least two years
experience in communications or related work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and knowledge of another
local language will be an advantage.
• Experience in website management and desktop publishing
• Good ability to research and critically analyse information
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Internet-use)
• Diplomacy, flexibility, innovation and commitment
• Ability to work in a team

The salary package will commensurate with experience and qualifications.
