Jolie, Witherspoon top list of best-paid actresses

Screen stars Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon are Hollywood's best paid actresses, netting 15-20 million dollars per picture, local media reported Friday.
Reese Witherspoon, 31, who won a Best Actress Oscar in 2006 for "Walk the Line," last year was number two on the list behind Nicole Kidman, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Jolie, 32, had good luck this year as her "Legend of Beowulf" marked her first box-office hit since "Mr and Mrs Smith" in 2005, in which she costarred opposite real-life love Brad Pitt.
A best supporting actress winner in 2002, Jolie this year starred in "A Mighty Heart" as the widow of slain journalist Daniel Pearl, a film that has sparked talk she could get another Oscar nod.
Number three on the list was Cameron Diaz, who commands 15 million dollars a film, the report said.
