Fiji’s Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama last night paid tribute to those involved in the tourism industry.

Fiji’s Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama last night paid tribute to those involved in the tourism industry.

In his welcome address to guests and participants at the 15th AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, Commodore Bainimarama said that the outcome of the awards marks a milestone achievement for all those involved in positioning Fiji’s tourism industry on the world stage.

The AON Fiji Excellence Tourism Awards winners are as follows:

Front-liner of the Year Award: Apisai Vasu - Plantation Island Resort

Fiji Experience Awards-Captain Cook Cruises

Incentive Events Tours and Transport: Tourist Transport Fiji- Coral Sun Express- Feejee

Accommodation Luxury: Likuliku Lagoon Resort

Marketing Award: Rosie Holidays

The lifetime achiever went to Denarau developer and former CEO of Tabua Investments Martin Darveniza and the visionary award was given to Debra Sadranu -the pioneer and founder of the Fiji Beauty and Spa industry.
