ATMs
The major banks represented in Fiji are the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ Ltd), Westpac Banking Corporation, Colonial National Bank, Bank of Baroda and the Bank of South Pacific.

All the banks in Fiji have Automated Teller Machines (ATM), which can be found all over Fiji. The banks open from 9.30am to 3pm on Mondays to Thursdays and 9.30am to 4pm on Fridays.

ANZ’s main branches in Suva and Nadi as well as Colonial’s Suva Central branch are also open from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

Foreign Exchange
The Fijian dollar – the basic unit of currency is available in $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 notes. Coins are available in 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c and $1.

Exchange rates are published daily in newspapers and are listed in all major banks, hotels and resorts. Hotels & resorts also exchange foreign notes and traveller’s cheques.

Major credit cards, American Express, Visa & MasterCard’s are accepted at selected outlets.

Net Cafes
Net cafes have emerged all over the country in the past few years and now can be found virtually everywhere in Fiji.

They can be found in major towns and cities and some are open for 24 hours. Local hotels and resorts can provide Internet access as well.

Access to the internet has never been more affordable or easier than now. You can surf the net in absolute comfort & at the same time enjoy the famous hospitality of the Fijian people.
