The electoral rolls must close 7 days after writ day
or the day in which the writs for the general election
are issued. This date is therefore the last day to register
as a voter.

of a candidate for election to the House of Representatives.
Nomination Day is the 14th day after the date of the
writs.

Objections to nominations are received between 9am -
1pm, 2pm - 4pm at the offices of the returning officers.
Last Day for Lodging of Lists of Preferences

Polling Period - 6th May to

Polling commences not later than 30 days after Nomination
