UTOF gives investors an opportunity to spread or diversify their risks and leave the management of their investments in the hands of professionals with wide business experience.
When you invest in UTOF, your money buys "unit" in the Trust and you become a Unit holder.
Also in buying units, you are buying into a pool of investments which may include the shares of companies and other investments such as bonds, property and term deposit.
A "unit" gives you a proportionate right to the value of the collective investments in the pool.
