Animations Day 1 & Catechises - Suva..!!

We all got up at 3am to prepare ourselves to lead the Animations and Catechises programme at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Miranda.
After our hot showers, we had a feast for breakfast - the hospitality here is so amazing..!! We did not miss home much because we received so much love and care from the parishioners of this church and school.
Our Animation Team from Suva Parish just rocked the show and the mass after that was just beautiful. The youth of other countries just couldn't get over the music and the hymns that the choir had put together. They were so delighted and did not want the day to end. It was this day that we got answers to most of our personal questions about our Catholic Faith and as Christians through the Bishop of New Zealand.
We portrayed our Island Culture with so much pride, humility and modesty that we won everyone's hearts.
I was even interviewed live on ABC radio station about the popularity that we were creating as the Fiji Pilgrims amongst Australia and the World Youth.
From Miranda's day programme we went to the city for other youth festivals which were all a blessing to be part of. Long tiring day, hence we were back on the train at 2am ready to just reach the camp and crash.....
